The usual problem I get is honking, and most often they only do that because they think I haven't seen them coming up behind me, so it's not a 'road rage' incident. I'd mount a camera if the rage incidents were common, but I fear it would be like the time I mounted an Airzound - 3 months later, I'd never used it, so I removed it.Ian Brett Cooperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11144195897514392433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5353875138735331560.post-79722100641831113672012-10-03T23:58:22.818+01:002012-10-03T23:58:22.818+01:00Helmet cam! and maybe a rear-facing cam for good m...Helmet cam! and maybe a rear-facing cam for good measure.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5353875138735331560.post-66529638006239166682012-09-28T16:24:33.643+01:002012-09-28T16:24:33.643+01:00Vehicular cyclists are not gods. We get into accidents too - only at a rate about 1/10th that of non-vehicular cyclists.

That might explain why, in 40 years and well over 20,000 miles of cycling on the road, I have never once been knocked off my bike. I've never even fallen off my bike because, unlike bicycle facility advocates, I'm not stupid enough to limit myself to riding on the sidewalk, in door zone bike lanes and on 4ft wide ribbons of asphalt that are not properly designed for cycling.Ian Brett Cooperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11144195897514392433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5353875138735331560.post-75133185331580675722012-09-28T14:13:07.897+01:002012-09-28T14:13:07.897+01:00This incident doesn't really back up your beli...This incident doesn't really back up your belief that vehicular cycling is safer, does it? I thought many mail carriers were contractors. Not necessarily US Government employees, as they used to be.GreenComotionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11272116464292908327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5353875138735331560.post-8574583621132509682012-09-20T23:57:49.074+01:002012-09-20T23:57:49.074+01:00Do postal workers get bonus points for aggressive ...Do postal workers get bonus points for aggressive ignorance?Steve Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13650405341304401203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5353875138735331560.post-35422828105952922112012-09-20T14:08:14.458+01:002012-09-20T14:08:14.458+01:00Writing him up puts it on the record with the USPS...Writing him up puts it on the record with the USPS.
